Monthly Mingle #8: Savory cakes – Smoked Salmon Cake

Meeta asked to bring along Savory Cakes for this months mingle.
An interesting challenge for me ’cause I never did such a cake ’till now. I didn’t even eat one.
When I read about Sophie Dudemaine a while ago at Ulrikes Küchenlatein I saved the link but did not try a single recipe…
Now this was the perfect opportunity to do so and I found one me and G. would really like:
Smoked Salmon Cake
150 gram flour
1 packet raising powder
3 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
100 ml sun flower oil
125 ml milk
100 gram grated Greyerzer[1]
200 gram smoked salmon
1 handful chive

Preheat oven to 180 °C.
Combine flour, rising powder, eggs slat and pepper, mix well. Litlle by little add oil, warm milk and cheese.
Cut the salom into small pieces and hash the chive. Add both. Pour into a ovenproof pan and bake for about 45 minutes.
Serve and enjoy! :^^:
