[Weekend Cat Blogging] – #86

It’s weekend again.

Winter has come in Vienna – finally at the end of January – ansd SHE is a litle bit grumpy ’cause shes’s caught a cold and not feeling well ’cause of the unstable weather outsinde.

Well, at least I could talk her into writing this post for me.

It’s a hard job you know.
SHE’s always mumbling something like “It’s a foodblog not a catblog you’ve got your own blog …”
Only showing her all the other fellow cat blogger out there helps to get her going…

Well, now SHE is right: this is a foodblog, but cats have to eat too, haven’t we?
So I’ll post a very delicious recipe for you and maybe your mummy will cook it for some time or another … SHE does it sometimes and we love it. *yummy*

Chicken hearts with rice and veggies

    You’ll need:

      about 150 ml chicken stock
      chicken hearts (fresh)
      1 tablespoon rice (cooked)
      1 tablespoon green peas
      some slices of carrots
1 small potatoe, cooked and snibbled into small pieces

    to do:

    1. cook rice and vegtables a few minutes in chicken soup. fry chicken hearts in some olive oil (not too much)
    2. mix vegetables with the hearts and cut them in your food processor (not too much too).
    3. ad some of the stock to make it a little bit smoother.
    4. sprinkle with some herb salt – but only very very few salt please.
    5. let it cool down until luke warm and serve it to your cats. *yummy*
    6. you can also sprinkle some yeast flakes pon top of the dish, this makes it even more delicious…

Now I am tired and have to take a little nap…
