Weekend Herb Blogging – Herb-Mania

I bow my head in shame. I have not blogged regularly since - uh - I think August 2007 and it’s that long since I participated - more or less - regularly in WHB or other food blogging events…
I miss being part of it!!

Why you might ask didn’t I participate then?
Well this has several reasons:
First I was, and am still, very occupied by my business and thus leaving me very limited time to cook at home and blog regularly as my amount of private online time was cut down to a very little time… Secondly I moved to a new apartment in January this year and was occupied with moving-related things since uhm November 2007 – this circumstance again cut into my private online time – leaving less and less of it.
Now about half a year later I am finally mostly settled and I am slowly gaining back my beoved online time and my time to cook and blog about food related things… hopefully that is!

One wonderful thing – due to my moving into a new apartment which is a freehold flat (or condominium as I think Americans call it) – is a 6 m2 balkony and thus allows me to have my own bunch of herbs!!
Can you imagine how happy I am?

Now as this is weekend HERB Blogging I thought it would be a good idea to show you all my balkony and the herbs that are all MINE MINE MINE and growing happily there…. *hehe*

So here we have rosemary, thyme, lemon verbena, chives, echinacea, basil, sage

and yes, some lettuce: read oak leaf lettuce and some kind of lettuce it just can’t remember…

Sorry no recipe today – but I promise one for next week!
