I am so sorry. This won’t help now, but it helped me after we lost our Wynnie cat unexpectedly last year, to have a small celebration of her life on the 49th day after her passing. That is the day some Buddhists believe the soul reincarnates. By then, we were able to have some perspective and say goodbye in a calm and lovely way. Of course, we still miss her…
