Weekend Cat Blogging is going PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

LB

Our friends Breadchick and LB at The Sour Dough are taking a beak from blogging and online stuff so we have agreed to step in for their scheduled weekends in 2010.

So Weekend Cat Blogging is hosted here this weekend.

You know how it works, right?

Anyhoo ifn you are a Catblogger,  Foodblogger or any other Blogger owned by cats:
Post a picture and/or story of your cat(s) on your blog and leave your link in the comments of this post.

We will add you to the round up on Sunday evening at the latest!

DSC_0639You might be a little irritated why this post is all pink. No it’s not that Momma has all gone crazy, it’s because October is the official Breast Cancer Awareness Month and so we are showing our support by going pink with Weekend Cat Blogging!

October is the month where you will see pink ribbons everywhere, which has been the national symbol for breast cancer awareness since it was first introduced back in 1991. Thousands of pink ribbon products are now sold all over the world to help raise money for breast cancer research, and has become the theme for all activities involving breast cancer.

All over the world during the month of October, there are 5 k runs and walks sponsored by the American Cancer Society to help bring awareness and to celebrate the lives of the cancer survivors, as well as pay tribute to those who have lost their battle with this disease.

See: Even Othello and Kashim went pink to show their support!
