COUNTRY-STYLE WHOLE-WHEAT PITA
The Bread Baking Babes are striking again and this month it is PITA. Ilva of Lucullian Delights is hosting as Kitchen of the Month. She is the one who chose the recipe :o)
I promised to Sher some months ago to try and improve my bread baking skills by baking the BBB’s breads and try to earn me a Bread Baking Buddy Badge.
Sher I am sure you are looking down at me right now and if you were still among us you’d be first to leave a encouraging comment on this post.
I still miss you!

For the recipe please visit Ilva!
I basically followed the given recipe, I only followed Tanna’s example and halfed the recipe ’cause I am a single person household.
And – of course – I substituted the wheat with spelt ’cause I should not eat too much wheat. It worked out fine with spelt anyway.
We had them for today’s lunch with some chicken-gyros and some home-made potato wedges. I have to say they were very delish!

Thanks Bread Baking Babes!!
