EBBP#7: Wohooo my parcel arrived

Yesterday morning when I intended to leave my home and head to work I was stopped by my concierge.
She handed me a parcel.
I was surpised.
Well it was 7 o’clock in the morning and usually I am not very awake at such times…

Then I spotted something that caught my eye. Something very familiar and yet foreign.
Somethig Irish. I looked a little closer, spotted the address and saw that the parcel came all the way from Offaly.
Now I was really excited!
I decided not to put the parcel back into the flat but take it with me all the way to work ’cause I knew I could not wait until late in the evening to find out what’s in there.
While waiting for the bus I could not resist and ripped off the card which was taped down in front.
What I found inside was a very lovely card from Deborah – The Humble Housewife. A blogger totally new to me.

She wrote a wonderful and nice card explaining what she was sending and even worried that I would find the “typical Irish fare” find terrible…
:D: Meeee?? Finding anything Irish terrible? That would not happen!
Johanna really hit the mark (I wonder if this is correct?!) when she matched me with Deborah, the Irish Lady.
I have to admit I would have loved every other parcel from anywhere but this just was perfect because Ireland and its people are very special to me. They posses my heart and my soul whenever I am in this lovely country and when not I am carving to be there…
Lets say it was just a double hit, an extra bonus. :^^:
I arrived at my workplace and simply had to look inside and get hands on all that lovely treats Deborah sent to me:

There were Irish mustard (Mr.Q a friend of mine will certainly love this) and Blackberry Jam, Lily O’Briens chocolates (I had to eat two of them before I even took a pic), Shepards Pie mix (I’ve never made one, but promise to do so soon) and Butlers chocholate (Mrs.Qs favourite brand and white chocolate is dearly beloved by my darling G.), Irish cream pies (all gone by now)

Jaffa cakes (yummmy), Merci (very favoured by my mother) and Cadburys (much beloved and desired by me as my favourite drinking chocolate is Cadburys!!)

At home the boys asked: Can I has box? and immediately bega:n to sniff and explore Deborahs box. Of course after I safed the content…

Thank you so much Deborah!
Its a wonderful parcel,
much beloved and appreciated by everyone :^^:
